Killing Of Rice Farmers In Borno Is Very Senseless – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has come out to blast the killing of over 40 rice farmers in Borno State on Saturday, November 28, 2020, by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

Buhari recently had his say via a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

According to him, the killing of the farmers was very senseless and the entire nation is currently mourning the painful deaths.

He added that his thoughts are with their families in this time of grief and may the souls of the departed rest in peace.

His words, β€œPresident @MBuhari has expressed grief over the killing of farmers on rice fields at Zabarmari, in Jere Local Government of Borno State, describing the terrorist killings as insane.

β€œI condemn the killing of our hardworking farmers by terrorists in Borno State. The entire country is hurt by these senseless killings. My thoughts are with their families in this time of grief. May their souls Rest In Peace.”

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician currently serving as the President of Nigeria, in office since 2015.
