Killings In Zamfara State Are Barbaric – Senator Anyim Pius

Ex-Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim has come out to react to the killings in Zamfara State.

He recently had his say via his social media page, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the killings in the Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas of Zamfara State by suspected bandits are highly condemnable, barbaric and saddening.

He added that Nigeria owed the affected families and communities a safer and brighter future, but failed.

His words, “It is with a heavy heart that I condole with the people of Zamfara State.”

“The destruction of lives and property is barbaric and the interruption of their livelihoods is saddening.”

“I mourn with the people of Anka and Bukkuyum LGAs, we owe the families and all other affected communities across the nation a safer and brighter future.”

“I pray for a Nigeria where we all live in harmony and there’s absolute security.”
