Mahdi Aliyu Gusau Betrayed Zamfara State Governor – Femi Fani-Kayode

PDP chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode has come out to blast the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Mahdi Aliyu Muhammad Gusau for refusing to decamp to the APC with Governor Bello Mohammed.

He recently revealed this via a statement, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he doesn’t understand why a Deputy Governor would refuse to decamp with his Governor because that is what loyalty is all about.

He added that the deputy governor clearly undermined and betrayed a man who put his trust in him.

His words, “When a Governor decamps from one party to another shouldn’t his Deputy go with him? Is that not what loyalty is all about?”

“Against his better judgement @Bellomatawalle1 picked you as his running mate & made you Deputy Governor & now you undermine & betray him? Shame on you!”

“So, if there are areas that we can now get revenues that will help us reduce the amount of borrowing, then so be it and this is something that we all agree with Mr. President that we should continue to look at those areas that we need to improve on revenue generation and collection.”
