Mavin Records’ New Spaces Will Boost Productivity And Creativity – Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy & Dr SidPopular record label, Mavin Records, has disclosed an expansion of its operations with its new creative and corporate spaces.

This was revealed in a recent statement signed by Michael Collins Ajereh a.k.a Don Jazzy, Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Mavin Records.

His words, “We are happy to move to our new spaces.”

“Mavin Records has grown over the years on the corporate and creative side which influenced the decision to relocate our business to two separate spaces with the corporate space in Victoria Island, Lagos and the creative studios in Lekki, Lagos. The new spaces will help us ensure our teams are happier, further boost productivity and creativity as we continue to execute our growth plans.”

Chief Operating Officer, Oghenejobo Tega also said, “This is a key step in the strategic growth of Mavin Records”.

“Both offices were developed to meet the growth needs of Mavin as there have been recent hires across our corporate and creative teams driven by the need to deliver top-notch value for our talent roaster, industry stakeholders, fans and corporate clients. The spaces demonstrates the culture and ambition of Mavin in its continuous drive to deliver innovative services — which includes brand partnerships, content production, publishing and influencer marketing.”

Great news for Don Jazzy and co.

Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He co-founded the now defunct record label Mo’ Hits Records in 2004. Following the closure of the aforementioned record label, Don Jazzy set up Mavin Records on May 8, 2012.

Ajereh is Isoko from Delta State. His mother is an Igbo princess from Abia state and his father was an origin of the Isoko people. He was born in Umuahia, Abia State. His family moved to Ajegunle, Lagos where Ajereh was raised.

Ajereh’s family moved to Ajegunle, Lagos where Ajereh was raised. He was educated at the co-educational high school, Federal Government College Lagos. Ajereh found an interest in music early in life and at age 12, began to play the bass guitar. He also gained knowledge of traditional and percussion instruments. Ajereh enrolled in business management studies at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo state.

In 2000, Ajereh visited London. His uncle had invited him to play the drums for the local church. In London, Ajereh gained employment at McDonald’s as a security guard. He continued his interest in music, associating with Solek, JJC, Kas, The 419 Squad and D’Banj. Ajereh learnt producing skills from Emeka Infiniti at O-Town record company.

In 2012, Ajereh appeared in Moses Inwang’s movie The Last 3 Digits in Nollywood. Inwang also cast Ali Baba, A.Y., Nonso Diobi and Dr. Sid.
