Meghan Markle Returns To Instagram

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has officially returned to Instagram.

This is coming after 5 years away from the social media platform, and the world has been reacting.

She recently launched her personal account on New Year’s Day with a video captured by Prince Harry on a beach near their home in Montecito, California.

In the clip, Markle is seen running barefoot toward the waves, her back to the camera. She then stopped to trace 2025 in the sand before giggling and jogging away.

Markle disabled comments on the post but received “likes” from celebrity friends, including Serena Williams, Chrissy Teigen and Tan France.

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex is an American member of the British royal family and former actress married to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, the younger son of King Charles III.

Rachel Meghan Markle was born on August 4, 1981, at West Park Hospital in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California, to Doria Ragland (born 1956), a social worker and former makeup artist, and Thomas Markle Sr. (born 1944), an Emmy Award winning television lighting director and director of photography.

After the wedding, the Duke and Duchess lived at Nottingham Cottage within the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. In May 2018, it was reported that they had signed a two-year lease on Westfield Large, located on the Great Tew Estate in the Cotswolds. They gave up the lease after photos of the house and its interior were published by a paparazzi agency.

Meghan became a princess of the United Kingdom upon her marriage to Prince Harry, entitled to the style of Royal Highness.
