Mistreated Sons Will End Up Becoming Dysfunctional Fathers Who Will Mistreat Their Own Sons – Banky W

Popular singer, Banky W has come out to say that apart from God, the examples of fatherhood in the scriptures all had great faults.

He recently had his say via a post shared on Instagram, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Abraham actually lied about his wife, had a baby with his housekeeper, and threw them out, Isaac also lied about his wife and made enemies of his sons, Moses was so consumed with ministry that he didn’t teach the same principles in his own family, and David even messed up his own kids.

Banky added that fatherhood should be taken more seriously in the world of today because mistreated and ill-adjusted sons will become dysfunctional fathers who mistreat their sons.

His words, “I was shocked to learn that there are barely any completely great examples of fatherhood in scripture, other than God Himself. Almost every single one did something really wrong.

Abraham lied about his wife, had a baby with his housekeeper, and threw them out. Isaac also lied about his wife and made enemies of his sons. Jacob had 12 sons and passed the same dysfunction on. Moses was so consumed with ministry that he didn’t teach the same principles in his own family. Jesse didn’t count David as a son. David really messed up his own sons. One by one, they all got it wrong.

Mistreated and ill-adjusted sons become dysfunctional fathers who mistreat their sons.. and the cycle just goes on.

(I learned this from one of my mentors @hartramsey, and it completely blew my mind).

The one Father who got it completely right was the one who led by example and loved us enough to lay down His life.

May He teach us to do the same… to love, to lead and to sacrifice; to train and to teach; to protect and to provide; to serve and to shield.

May He help us to break the cycle of father wounds and father absence in our generation and beyond.
