Mudashiru Obasa Is Not Expected To Resign – APC

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has come out to say that Speaker Mudashiru Obasa is not expected to resign as part of the agreement to resolve the leadership crisis in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

APC spokesperson in Lagos, Seye Oladejo recently dismissed the claim, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, there was no arrangement for Obasa to resign while they discussed the terms of settlement of the crisis, so he has no idea where the rumors are coming from.

He, however, added that Obasa will withdraw the lawsuit in the interest of renewed peace anytime now.

His words, “To the best of my knowledge, there was no time the arrangement for Obasa to resign came up in the terms of settlement of the crisis.

I’m aware that any moment from now, Obasa will withdraw the lawsuit in the interest of renewed peace and progress of the House in particular and the party in general.”
