My Grammy Nomination Still Feels Like A Miracle – Yemi Alade

Popular singer, Yemi Alade has come out to reveal the inspiration behind her decision to start singing in different languages.

She recently had her say during an interview with CNN, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, she started singing in other languages after her song “Johnny” gained international recognition, and since then, her desire to communicate to her diverse audience has grown stronger.

Yemi added that her Grammy recognition feels like a miracle in her life, and it’s definitely a good time to be alive.

His words, “Paris is one of the cities that opened its borders to my music, and I fell in love with French even more.

I wanted to communicate, so I decided to make versions of my songs in other languages. That’s how the love story with languages started.

My 2025 Grammy recognition feels like a miracle in my life. I thought this moment might never come.

Being nominated for Grammy feels so surreal. It’s a good time to be alive.

I almost thought this moment might never come. I felt seen, and it reassured me that anybody out there could become anything. You just have to believe and not stop even if the world wants you to.”
