My Wife Is The Reason I Call Myself A Professional Actor – Matt Damon

Hollywood actor, Matt Damon has come out to open up about how his wife, Luciana Barroso helped him when he fell into a depression on the set of a movie.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, actors sometimes get depressed when they have to do their jobs while inconveniencing their family members at the same time, and he is grateful to his wife for stepping in when he experienced it first hand.

Matt added that he prides himself to be a professional actor mainly because of his woman.

His words, “I think, without naming any particular movies, that sometimes you find yourself in a movie that you know perhaps might not be what you had hoped it would be, and you’re still making it,”

“Halfway through production and you’ve still got months to go, and you’ve taken your family somewhere, and you’ve inconvenienced them.”

“And I remember my wife pulling me up because I fell into a depression about, like, what have I done?”

“And she just said, ‘We’re here now,’”

“I do pride myself, in a large part because of her, at being a professional actor. And what being a professional actor means is you go and you do the 15-hour day and give it absolutely everything, even in what you know is going to be a losing effort.”
