My Wife Packed My Bags As Soon As She Saw How Much Money A Chinese Club Offered Me – Ideye

Ex-Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye has come out to reveal his wife’s reaction after she saw his proposed salary and bonuses from a Chinese Super League team, Tianjin TEDA.

He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he never planned to move to China at all during his football career, but the monetary compensation that came with the TEDA’s deal made him change his mind.

Ideye added that his wife actually packed his bags for the journey to China as soon as she saw the money involved.

His words, “I had no plans to go to China, Olympiacos received an offer from TEDA which they can’t refuse, my agent negotiated with TEDA about my salary and bonuses.

When I saw the long numbers and told my wife, na she pack my luggage for me to leave the next day LOL…”
