National Flag Set To Fly Half-Mast To Honour Fallen Heroes – FG

The Federal Government has come out to say that public buildings and facilities will fly the National Flag half-mast in honour of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other military officers.

This was recently revealed via a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.

According to him, President Muhammad Buhari gave the directive and it is meant to honour the deceased who lost their lives as they served the country.

He added that the president has also approved May 24 as a work-free day for members of the Armed Forces.
