NeNe Leakes Quits Real Housewives of Atlanta

After nearly eight years on Bravo’s hit Real Housewives of Atlanta, fan favorite NeNe Leakes is leaving the show.

In a statement via her IG, NeNe told fans:
“This is so hard for me to type! I cry as I do so! I am so Grateful for all the love and laughs! Thank you so much to everyone that has watched and supported me over the years on this amazing platform! With lots of thoughts and prayer I’ve decided to step out on faith and not fear. #nomoRHOA4me”

According to TMZ, NeNe is leaving because she couldn’t get the big bucks she was looking for during the contract negotiations. Everyone part of the show is at a loss for words over NeNe’s sudden departure since the show was just about to start filming its new season in the next couple of weeks.”

NeNe is going to be focusing on new projects outside the biz one of which is her own clothing store. She is also the newest face on KimKardashian’s Hollywood app.
