Nigerian Army denies killing a civilian

The 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army denies the story that says a soldier allegedly killed a 35 years old woman in Plateau. According to the report, the 35 years woman Sarah Edward Nyam, was said to have been shot dead in Fwapwa Doi village of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State by men of the Nigerian Army on Friday night. In the response issued by Kayode Ogunsaya the Colonel deputy Director of public relations in the Army from the Headquaters stated that the report was a “deliberate falsehood and an attempt to portray the Division in bad light”
