Nigerians Should Unite Against Hunger, Not For Football – Portable

Popular singer, Portable has come out to mock Nigerians celebrating the Super Eagles win against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Nigerians are meant to unite against the hunger and hardship in the country and not on football, because it is funny seeing them celebrate the victory of the Super Eagles players despite having nothing in their stomachs.

Portable added that the nation needs a lot of our prayers because hunger is very real at the moment.

His words, “My people, pray for Nigeria. Hungry wan kill us. You people should sit down and ask yourself ‘Why am I happy? Why am I dancing up and down? Have I eaten? Dollar has risen. Euro is running. Where is the Naira? You are not thinking about your life, you watching football, opening your chest. Your wife and children are at home, they have not eaten and you are shouting ’Goal! Goal!, Up Nigeria!”
