Nigerians Shouldn’t Politicize Security Issues – Aminu Masari

The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari has come out to say that a declaration of state of emergency on security will not solve the security situation in Nigeria.

He recently revealed this to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the declaration of a state of emergency is not the solution we need, and instead, we should focus on the commitment of every Nigerian irrespective of political and religious affiliations to a peaceful nation.

He then begged Nigerians not to politicize security issues even as he also stated that the military is already overstretched.
