No Helicopter Is Supplying Arms To Criminals In Our State – Kaduna

The Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan has come out to say that reports of helicopter supplying arms to criminals in the state are fake.

He recently revealed this via a statement issued today, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the attention of the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to the circulation of a story by certain blogs and social media pages alleging the false news, but Nigerians should know that the story is very false and misleading.

He added that thorough checks were conducted by security agencies and Human Intelligence networks, so their conclusion is legit.

His words, “The attention of the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to the circulation of a story by certain blogs and social media pages alleging that helicopters supplied gunmen with arms at Ungwan Dankali and Tsallaken Dogo in Zaria Local Government Area on the night of Jan. 6.”

“The state government hereby wish to inform residents that from thorough checks conducted by security agencies and Human Intelligence networks, the story is entirely false and misleading.”

Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai (born 16 February 1960) is a Nigerian politician who is the Governor of Kaduna State, in office since 2015. He was previously the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2003 to 2007; and the director of the Bureau of Public Enterprises. Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai was born on February 16, 1960 to a Fulani family in Daudawa. His father died while he was 8 years old, and he was sponsored through his early schooling by an uncle in Kaduna. El-Rufai attended Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, where he received a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying with first class honours.

On March 28 2020, El-Rufai tested positive for COVID-19, following contact with an index case. He has placed a curfew in Kaduna State and restricted movement, to prevent the spread of the virus.
