Pdiddy proposes to longtime girlfriend Cassie on Instagram

The 44-year-old rapper/producer, who has been dating the 27-year- old beauty on-and-off since 2007, sparked speculation he was set to walk down the aisle after posting an image of a diamond sparkler on photo-sharing website Instagram.com on Sunday.

In the accompanying caption, which was not directly addressed to anyone, he wrote, “Baby do you like it? I just want to get you wat (sic) you Like! I just wanna Mk (make) you smile”.

Cassie responded to the image stating, “It’s perfect!” and hours later, singer pal Keyshia Cole uploaded a blurry picture of herself with Combs’ girlfriend sporting what appeared to be the same diamond on her ring finger.

The couple has yet to comment on the engagement reports.

Combs, who has five children with three different women, has never been married and recently insisted he was not ready to make such a big commitment, stating, “It definitely would be a dream come true for me to just one day be ready for that. I’m not really looking (to get married right now) because I know the responsibility that comes with that..

“I don’t want to get married and not make that woman be the best.. I’ve been close to it and when I’m ready I’ll make the announcement, but when I do it, I’m doing it forever.”
