Peace Is Always Made By Opening Channels – Pope Francis

The Vatican is currently involved in a secret peace mission to try to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Pope Francis has said.

He recently revealed that the vatican is ready to help repatriate Ukrainian children taken to Russia or Russian-occupied land, and the world has been reacting.

According to him, there is a mission in progress at this time, but he can only elaborate in public when it leads somewhere.

Pope added that peace is always made by opening channels, so that will have to come from both nations.

His words, “There is a mission in course now but it is not yet public. When it is public, I will reveal it,”

“I think that peace is always made by opening channels. You can never achieve peace through closure. … This is not easy.”

“In these meetings we did not just talk about Little Red Riding Hood. We spoke of all these things. Everyone is interested in the road to peace.”
