Legendary Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie turned 72 today and the entire Nigeria is celebrating the movie icon.

He jumped on Instagram to celebrate himself as well, sharing pictures and videos on social media and asking his fans to wish him a happy birthday because it is well deserved.

Chief Pete Edochie was born on the 7th of March 1947 and is seen as one of Africa’s most talented actors, being honored with an Industry Merit Award by Africa Magic and Lifetime Achievement by Africa Film Academy.

In 2003, he was honored as a Member of the Order of the Niger by President Olusegun Obasanjo.
