Peter Okoye Throws Shade At Nigeria’s Sport Minister

Coach of the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria (GFN), Tony Asuquo, said Team Nigeria was forced to cut short their participation at the continental championship in South Africa due to lack of funds. Asuquo, who is also a board member of GFN, disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja following the team’s return from the All Stars Gymnastics tournament on Tuesday. The coach, who travelled with the team said they had limited funds and had to return to the country.

Singer and dancer, Peter Okoye of Psquare, reacted to this news in a not so nice manner. He questioned Nigeria’s sport minister and called the return of the Gymnasts a shame.
