Plateau State Must Be Protected – Atiku

Ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has come out to warn that Plateau State should not become a theatre of blood-letting.

He recently revealed this after blasting new attacks in the state which includes one suffered by some travellers in Rukuba Road community, Jos North Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, Plateau State has been a pride of the country for a very long time, and the recent bloodshed over there is a clear threat to our national security.

He added that Nigeria must do everything possible to protect the people of Plateau, its people and its heritage of hospitality.

His words, “The recurring attacks on Jos stand condemned,”

“The Plateau has been a pride of the country and should not be a theatre of blood-letting. This recent attack on the city of Jos, like all others before it and everywhere else, is an affront to our national security.”

“We must do our all to protect the Plateau, its people and its heritage of hospitality. I mourn the victims of this new attack and sympathise with their loved ones.”
