The Nigerian Police has conducted a show of force in Anambra ahead of the governorship elections coming up tomorrow Saturday, 18 November 2017.

Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations for the Anambra State Gubernatorial Election, Joshak Habila, had a meeting with other Security Chiefs in Awka, the State capital on the strategic implementation of the Security Arrangements for the Saturday November 18, 2017 Gubernatorial Election as they embark on Show of Force to send serious signal of warning to any would-be miscreant planning to disrupt the election.

The show of force was also done to reassure the people of Anambra State of Police readiness to protect them before, during and after the election.
