Portable Is Not Above The Law – Police

The police in Ogun State have come out to confirm reports of its officers attempting to arrest singer, Portable at his bar earlier today.

The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi recently has her say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to her, four invitations were sent to Portable to come for questioning after a fellow singer wrote a petition to the police command claiming Portable stormed his studio, got some people to beat him up, and then locked his studio, but Portable never showed up.

Abimbola added that the officers eventually had to secure a warrant of arrest from a competent court of jurisdiction to bring him in for questioning.
