Prince Philip Is Grateful To Those Who Wished Him Speedy Recovery – Buckingham Palace

Queen Elizabeth’s husband and Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip has finally left the hospital.

Recall that Philip recently recovered from heart surgery, four weeks after first being admitted, and the world has been reacting.

According to a recent statement, Prince got treated for an infection, and His Royal Highness wishes to thank all the medical staff who looked after him at both King Edward VII’s hospital and St Bartholomew’ hospital.

The statement added that Philip is also grateful to those who sent their good wishes while he was recovering.

It read, “The Duke of Edinburgh has today been discharged from King Edward VII’s hospital and has returned to Windsor Castle, following treatment for an infection and a successful procedure for a pre-existing condition.”

“His Royal Highness wishes to thank all the medical staff who looked after him at both King Edward VII’s hospital and St Bartholomew’ hospital, and everyone who has sent their good wishes.”
