Rooney ready to see out Manchester united contract

Manchester United captain, Wayne Rooney, says he will accept a reduced role in the club but not ready to quit the club.

Rooney was dropped by manager Jose Mourinho in their last game against champions Leicester,but he is expected to return to the starting line-up for United’s Europa League tie at home to Zorya Luhansk.

The striker, who turns 31 next month, has two years left on his current contract � with an option for a third.

Rooney has been linked with a big-money move to the Major League Soccer recently.
A testimonial game against Everton, was organized for Rooney who has spent 12 years at Manchester United in August, before the new season kicked off.
