Russia Invading Ukraine Is Very Shocking – FG

The Federal Government has come out to say that measures to keep Nigerians in Ukraine safe area already on the way.

FG recently had his say via a statement, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to the government, the country is ready to keep those who are willing to take the risk safe and evacuate those who wish to leave the war-hit country as soon as possible.

FG added that the reports of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia is still very shocking, but it is a reality we must deal with.

It read, “The Federal Government has received with surprise, reports of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.”

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been reassured by the Nigerian Embassy in Ukraine of the safety of Nigerians in that country and measures being undertaken to keep them safe and facilitate the evacuation of those who wish to leave.”

“In the meantime, the Nigerian Mission has confirmed that military action by the Russians has been confined to military installations.”
