Samson Siasia’s kidnapped mother released

Nigeria’s U-23 coach,Samson Siasia’s mother who was kidnapped over two weeks ago has been rescued.

There are no details yet on if ransom was paid but according to sports radio,Brilla FM, the police confirmed she was rescued and Samson told the station,”Thank God! she’s back home”

Just yesterday, he lamented that search for his 72 year old mother by the Nigerian police was taking too long and hoped his mother has not been killed by her abductors.He also said her kidnap was distracting him from his coaching duties.
