Sani Jaji Deserves Tinubu’s Support To Be Senate President – Better Nigeria Movement

The Better Nigeria Movement group has come out to ask President Bola Tinubu to support a lawmaker from Zamfara State, Sani Jaji for the position of Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives.

He recently had his say during the upcoming inauguration of the National Assembly, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Jaji is definitely one of the most qualified candidates, and he deserves Tinubu’s support because he was one of the earliest supporters of BAT ahead of the presidential election.

He added that it is also not in the nation’s interest to have another muslim as a senate president, after having 2 muslims as president and vice-president.

His words, “We are of the opinion that the party [the All Progressives Congress] should go for Jaji, who comes from the same state as Yari; it’s not in the nation’s interest to have another Muslim as a Senate President when we already had a Muslim-Muslim as President and Vice-president respectively, we shouldn’t push our luck beyond the limit.”

“With the way things are going, Jaji is the best bet. President Tinubu should change his mind. Jaji is a ranking and ardent supporter of President Tinubu and his predecessor, Buhari, He served as the contact and mobilisation director of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Council for the North-West.”
