The award-winning Kenyan group – Sauti Sol – release ISABELLA, the sixth single off Sauti Sol’s upcoming third album: LIVE AND DIE IN AFRIKA, set for release in 2015. The acoustic ISABELLA is a bonafide ballad, and truly represents Sauti Sol’s soulful side and prowess in crafting songs. The lyrics and storyline of the song flaunt a vagabond and youthful love, which knows no age, race or religion.

The music video of ISABELLA will be released in September. It was shot in Las Vegas by director Stevie Rodriguez and is centered around two love interests. The video will include scenes from Sauti Sol’s 2015 concert at the iconic Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas, USA.

USA President Barack Obama recently Lipala danced with Sauti Sol during his trip to Kenya, making global headlines. Sauti Sol were performing at a State House dinner event hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta, in honour of President Obama’s visit to Kenya (25th July 2015).

In 2014, Sauti Sol made history as the first Kenyans to win Best African Act at 2014 MTV Europe Awards (EMA).

In 2015, Sauti Sol won Best Song “Sura Yako” in East Africa at Kilimanjaro Awards (Tanzania), Most Downloaded Group at Mdundo Awards and Best Video in Kenya “Sura Yako” at 2015 Bingwa Music Awards (Kenya). They have also been nominated at Africa Youth Choice Award, BET Awards, MTV MAMA Awards, AFRIMMA Awards, African Entertainment and The Nigerian Entertainment Awards.
