Senator Obanikoro Dumps PDP For APC

Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has officially made public his intention to dump the PDP and move to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The ex senator confirmed this to Channels TV, he said he will make his action to defect public this weekend in Lagos State.

According to reports, Mr Obanikoro has been seen recently at gatherings of APC chieftains even as he is yet to clearly state reasons for his defection.

Obanikoro was a minister under the Goodluck Jonathan administration and was in the running for the Lagos state governorship seat in 2015 but lost the ticket to Jimi Agbaje.
