Supreme Court Judgment Is A Breach Of Confidence Nigerians Have In Our Judiciary – Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi has come out to say that the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed Bola Tinubu’s victory in the election as the nation’s president is a breach of Nigerians’ trust in the judiciary arm.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the judgement is nothing but a breach of confidence Nigerians have in our judiciary, and it is shame to see how things panned out that way.

Peter Obi added that it is a show of unreasonable force against the very Nigerian people from whom the power of the Nigerian citizens is drawn.

His words, “Without equivocation, this judgment amounts to a breach of confidence Nigerians have in our judiciary. To that extent, it is a show of unreasonable force against the very Nigerian people from whom the power of the Nigerian citizens is drawn.”
