I heard the sound of footsteps ruffling the dead leaves but it felt like my ears were playing tricks but the sound became clearer at that moment, scary guy stopped obviously waiting to see who it was.. that was the last thing I could remember.

I opened my eyes to the finest pair of eyes I had ever seen. Whoever had those eyes was peering into my face probably to see if I was alive. For an instant I wondered where I was and the stranger smiled.
‘Welcome back’ he said with a soft voice.
‘Who are you’ I replied and ‘where am I’? I said barely coherent.
‘You are in a hospital and you have been out for 5 hours’ he said smiling.

He explained how he and his crew were on their way back to school out of the bush when they saw me and my captor.. I had passed out and they were able to rescue me and he took to his heels because they were more in number. Even though I didn’t ask exactly what he and his ‘crew’ were doing in that kind of bush at that kind of time, I was glad to have been saved.

I was discharged an hour later and was brought back to school by my rescuer whose name I later found out to be Dan. As soon as I stepped into my room I saw Vanessa red and swollen eyed. She quickly jumped on me knelt down and kept thanking God. Apparently she had been crying since the previous night when she couldn’t find me at the club and came back to the room only to be told I was still not back.

Angry with her I explained everything that had happened to me and she apologized saying she and Jay just went to have a quickie in the car and didn’t realize they stayed so long. And when they returned to the club and didn’t see me they asked around. Some of the men that had seen me told them I had left the club.
They came back with the intention of meeting me in the room, but to her greatest surprise she was told I had still not returned.

She quickly told Jay that I was nowhere to be found and within them they decided if I was not back by the next day they would report to the police.

Meanwhile, she had cried and prayed that I would be fine wherever I was and apparently her prayer was answered.

Meanwhile, my kidnap was the beginning of good things in my life.. or so I thought.
