Two Auchi Poly Students Kidnap,Rape And Kill Fellow Student

Two male students of the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, in Edo state have been nabbed by the police for allegedly kidnapping, raping and killing a female student of the same institution.

According to Vanguard, the students, Henry Edewo and Emmanuel Isikhuime kidnapped 21-year-old Mercy Peter on July 29, 2012, allegedly serially raped her and four days later she was killed and buried in a shallow grave at Ugbor village, Oredo Local Government Area
of Edo State.

Meanwhile, it was alleged that the suspects continued to ask for a ransom from her parents.

According to the reports, State Police Public Relations Officer, Anthony Airhuoyo, said that the police made a break to the case on October 17 when two of the suspects were arrested. He further revealed that the
suspects had shown them where her body was buried.

One of the suspects identified simply as Charles is however still at large.
