We Are Doing Everything To End The Coronavirus Pandemic In Nigeria – FG

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha has come out to say that the Federal Government is not expecting an upsurge of fatality in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Boss, who is also the Chairman, Presidential Task Force (PTF), revealed this today in Abuja during PTF daily briefing on COVID-19 in the country.

According to him, there is intense interest by the government to make sure everything is in place to end the pandemic in our nation.

He, however, added that Nigeria is battling difficult times as the nation fights against an unseen enemy.

His brief words, “If you are in a neighborhood where many people have tested positive, you are advised to go for testing.”

“What we should be doing is improving efficiency of the targeting of the tests.

“We also do not recommend doing the test in the absence of symptoms.”

”Physical distances are what we actually need to be maintaining as much as is possible at this time.”
