Wike Wasn’t Grilled During Ministerial Nominees Screening Because Of His Records – Akpabio

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has come out to explain why the senators did not grill the immediate past governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike during the ministerial nominees screening.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Wike’s experiences as a governor and a minister under Goodluck Jonathan is the reason he was not grilled, as his records definitely speak for him.

He added that Wike even appeared before the Senate for screening when he was nominated as a minister by same GEJ.

His words, “Having been nominated again for a ministerial position, there is no point asking him many questions.”
