Nollywood and Ghollywood actor, John Dumelo has announced his unlikely victory in the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary race.

Recall that the politician is representing the opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC), and fans have been reacting.

According to him, even if there are still about 13 polling stations to go, he can confidently say that he has managed to achieve something his party could not achieve for 24 years.

His words, “With 13 polling stations to go, I can confidently say we have won the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat for the first time in 24 years.”

The constituency has long been considered a stronghold of the NPP, but John’s campaign appears to have resonated with younger voters and a diverse electorate.
